Welcome, Friends!
Friends,

Thank you!

Because of your tireless efforts, generous contributions, and energetic voter outreach, our campaign was a success!

Although we ended about 900 votes shy of a run-off in the general election, we won 15 percent of the vote, won the endorsements of The Oregonian, The Portland Mercury, The Skanner, Governor Barbara Roberts, Chair Bev Stein, Labor Commisisoner Brad Avakian, AFSCME, The OR Natural Resources Council, The OregonartPAC, and many, many others as we brought attention to some of the most pressing issues facing our community.

In particular, we convinced people that the County can and should play an even larger role in environmental sustainability, and I am going to continue my efforts to work with the County Commission and outside partners to implement my idea for the County's first Environmental Justice Council.

Your support and hard work has been an inspiration, and I hope all of you will join me in continuing those efforts to make our community as strong and progressive as possible.

Until our next campaign together!

Very truly yours,

-Rob Milesnick

"In our interview, he was the best prepared candidate when it came to Wheeler's public safety initiative and how to get it passed. His healthcare advocacy is a plus, as is his work on corrections oversight—serving on the city's citizens police review committee. He talks smartly about addiction and treatment issues, too."
